Large Decorative Tang Mirror
An unique large Tang dynasty (618–907 AD) mirror with inlays of different colorful stones, turquoise, and animal motifs that were indicative of the Tang period. Mirrors of this size are likely to come from noble and royal family. While this 1400+ yearl old mirror showed differential weathering on some part, there is still good reflective portion on the mirror side. This mirror has been loaned for exhibition in the past.
