Qing Dynasty Porcelain

The Qing dynasty (1644–1912) was the last imperial dynasty of China. Under the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong emperors the kilns at Jingdezhen reached a new technical height, adding the famille verte and famille rose enamel palettes to blue and white and producing porcelain for the court and for export on a very large scale. The Qing dynasty page gives the history.

About Qing Dynasty Porcelain

Collectors look at the quality of the potting and enamelling, the clarity of the cobalt and the style of any mark. Qing reign marks were copied widely, both later in the dynasty and afterwards, so a mark is always read together with the piece. Our guide to Chinese porcelain marks explains how. For the wares themselves, see our guide to Qing dynasty porcelain.

This collection includes blue and white bowls, a plate and a kendi, as well as enamelled and painted wares. The range runs from the transition between the late Ming and early Qing to the last years of the dynasty and just after.

Prices are given on request. Use the Request price form on the piece that interests you and we reply by email with the price and send further photographs on request. Payment is by bank transfer, card or cryptocurrency. We ship by fully insured, tracked express courier, and all sales are final.
