Antique Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Charger Plate Early Ming Dynasty
Exquisitely preserved, this rare and unique plate from the distant Ming Dynasty features an elegant outer frame with floral motifs painted with cobalt oxide, extolling a richly adorned inner medallion displaying peony flowers and leafy steams curled up in a movement of majestic floral crown. In the center of this blue and white porcelain Ming plate, delimited by a wide double-line circle, rises majestically the image of two exquisitely stylized Chinese roosters surrounded by a beautiful scenery that creates a fresh atmosphere, among which are a variety of abundant daffodils, vines, grapes, narcissus, leaves and even butterflies.
