Soup Bowl Jar Hand Painted by Artist Zhou Xiao Shun Late Qing Dynasty

The Soup Bowl Jar was hand painted by artist Zhou Xiao Shun in the late Qing Dynasty. Not a lot of Zhou’s work survive in the modern time. The porcelain has a distinct art showcasing figuring at the cover and at the jar. Chinese calligraphy is also emphasis on the cover and jar. The jar is in excellent condition and showing a sign of marking ware at the bottom. The size is 8 inches in diameter and 9″ in height. Estimate value is $35,600 including shipping.
